This quick and easy recipe results in the tastiest air fryer sprouts that are good enough to convert even those who don’t like them.

Despite being so flavourful, I have kept these sprouts really simple and just used some nutritional yeast, garlic salt and a touch of sea salt and pepper to jazz them up. If preferred, you could substitute the nutritional yeast for parmesan if you eat dairy.

I find that ten minutes is plenty of time for these to be soft in the middle but lovely and crispy on the inside, however, if you prefer them a little more ‘done’ just leave them in for another few minutes. Make sure you stop and shake them often.

When you first transfer the sprouts into the air fryer, not all of the seasoning will have stuck to them and there will be some remaining in the bowl. When you check on the sprouts and shake them after five minutes just throw any leftover seasoning in with them to use it all up. Once they are done I tend to tip the entire thing out into the bowl, leftover seasoning and all.

Using the air fryer is one of my favourite ways to cook vegetables as it guarantees that they crisp up without going soggy or losing any flavour. It is also so much quicker to cook things in the air fryer than in the oven so is perfect if you are a little short on time! I also find it convenient to throw things in the air fryer if I am cooking a big dinner and don’t have any room left for anything in my oven or on the hob!
