This delicious snickers smoothie bowl tastes more like dessert than breakfast and is the perfect start to the day for those with a sweet tooth wanting something that tastes a little more indulgent than usual. It also makes a great dessert on warmer evenings!

I never really planned to upload smoothie bowl recipes as I don’t really consider them to be something you need a recipe for, after all, you’re just putting stuff in a blender, right? I knew I wanted to share my Stella’s Super Smoothie and it just felt wrong to not include this too given how good it is!

I like the base of my snickers smoothie to be really thick so have only noted to use 150ml of liquid, however, if you wanted a runnier consistency just increase the amount to 200ml – 250ml to thin it out and make it more of a traditional, drinkable smoother rather than a thick base.

I have not noted which toppings to add as what you use comes down to personal preference, I usually use additional of whatever is in the smoothies so usually pack these with extra chopped banana, dates, big dollops of peanut butter, chocolate chunks, melted drizzled chocolate, maple syrup, etc! Think a giant drinkable Snickers bars!

This looks delicious but do you have any substitution recommendations for the banana? If not I’ll just try one of the many other delicious recipes you have on your site. Thanks!

Hey Sara, if you can’t have banana I think using your favourite plain yogurt in its place would work the best. This will mean it is still creamy and the Snickers flavours won’t be overpowered x
